Castle Motor Lodge Motel:
We are the joint leasehold owners of a busy 32 room motel with a bar and restaurant in Bowen Queensland. It is quite difficult to take a break from this business as the workload is significant given the Restaurant opens at 6 pm, 6 nights per week, and we provide cooked breakfasts [ by the Managers ] for our guests 7 days per week. The work load is demanding, as there is also the day to day running of the motel and the hours are long. It is difficult to find relievers who are willing to take this on and importantly are capable of doing it.
In the aftermath of cyclone Debbie we needed a break and were lucky enough to find Graeme and Lucille. They agreed to take it on for 3 weeks, at a time when our occupancy was high and the early cooked breakfasts were many. We cannot speak more highly of them. They ran the office professionally, feedback from our regular guests was very positive and our staff were highly complimentary. In addition they were prepared to personally cook early morning breakfasts for our guests at 5 am.
The ultimate question every owner asks themselves is "would we have our relieving Managers back". In the case of
Graeme and Lucille the answer is a very definite yes.

Springsure Overlander Motel:
Hi Graeme/Lucille,
No words we can say are enough to say thank you for a Great Couple and Great Motel Relief Managers.
Springsure Overlander has 40 Rooms, busy for Travellers, Miners and Road workers etc, but this lovely couple easily handled the 25 days relieving job when we were away. Talented, Skilled and well organized for everything. They made this 25 days easy for them, while doing the managers work, they still made time to give a hand to our Relief Cook to make sure all meals were all well-presented and to a high quality standard.
After I saw feedback from some of our regular guest and travellers, we were quite surprised that all of this feedback are in a positive way. Before they left I asked them are you Happy for the last 25 Days and they answered me straight away "Yes we are". Are you happy to come back and do the Relief work again soon and they never think twice to say "YES".

The Eyrie Escape:
We are delighted to recommend Graeme and Lucille as outstanding locum's for the hosted
accommodation industry. They have run our 5 star B&B for short and long periods, whilst looking after
our Labrador and 32 acre property with personal care and attention to detail. We returned each time to happy guests, a spotless house,
a well kept garden and even all the kitchen utensils were in their usual place.
